Overview

DepositProof is designed as a local-first rental inspection documentation app. The current version stores inspection reports, evidence photos, signatures, and generated PDFs on the user's device.

Data Collection

The current version does not use a backend account system and does not send inspection reports, photos, signatures, or PDFs to DepositProof servers.

Photos and Camera

DepositProof requests camera and photo library access only so users can attach evidence photos to inspection reports.

Sharing

When a user exports or shares a PDF, the user controls where that report is sent through iOS sharing options.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. DepositProof uses Apple's StoreKit APIs to determine whether export access is available.
